SmallHD 502 Bright

5” 1920 x 1080 LCD display at 1000 NITS brightness, and 1000:1 contrast ratio makes this the ultimate on-camera monitor for bright environment work. Featuring SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs, SmallHD’s PageBuilder OS gives you all the professional tools you’ll ned to get the job done.

SmallHD 502/Sidefinder

The Sidefinder is a fully featured HD viewfinder with a 5-inch flip-out 1080p display. It’s the union between the SmallHD 500 Series field monitor and a compact, patent-pending viewfinder accessory. The Sidefinder gives shooters all the benefits of using a field monitor AND an EVF, without compromising speed, agility, or quality of the image. The Sidefinder represents the highest resolution EVF and the highest resolution 5-inch on-camera monitor in one device.

SmallHD 703 UltraBright

The 7″ 1920 x 1080 LCD provides a sharp image, ideal for focus pulling and image analysis on set and in the field. Another advantage of the 2200 NIT high-brightness panel is the monitor’s ability to preview HDR content. HDR preview extends the display’s dynamic range to portray a greater range of brightness in the image.

OLED or “Organic LED” is a unique display technology that does not require a backlight to produce a viewable image (unlike LCD.) Instead, it uses tiny LEDs to make up its red, blue, and green pixels—all which generate the light on their own. As demonstrated, this means that the “black” areas of the screen are truly black (because the pixels are literally producing no light), rather than the dim glow we’re used to seeing on the “black” area of an LCD display as it tries to stop the backlight from leaking through. The benefit of this is higher contrast, higher color reproduction (gamut), and lower power consumption—overall, a much more attractive and accurate image.

SmallHD 702 Bright

The SmallHD 702 Bright is not only very bright (at a 1000 NITS) but also very sharp with a Full HD 1080p display and 1000:1 contrast ratio. Moreover, the LCD

features optically bonded glass with anti-reflective coating. All this adds up to highly more accurate daylight visibility in high image quality, on a fairly large 7” screen.

In addition, the 702 Bright is housed in an aircraft grade aluminum unibody and has a slim and trendy design. The design also offers an industry-first battery support solution — dual integrated battery plates each support both Sony L-Series and Canon LP-E6 batteries. The 702 Bright offers HD-SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs, as well as a headphone jack for monitoring audio. It also has a store of monitoring features, including Waveform, custom LUT support, anamorphic de-squeeze, and audio meters. On top of everything, it runs on SmallHD’s Page Builder OS, which is designed more like a production assistant than an operating system. This system allows you to create up to 12 pages of favorite features and to toggle between these pages with the flick of the joystick button.

More resolution, less reflection, rugged and modern build, powerful processing, and intuitive interaction — these are the words that describe SmallHD’s well thought-out 702 Bright On-Camera Monitor.

Odyssey 7Q+

The Odyssey7Q+ features a 7.7″ 1280 x 800 OLED display with a 3400:1 contrast ratio and is equipped with advanced image analysis tools, including Vectorscope, Waveform, and RGB Parade. The monitor comes with a compressed ProRes codec included and also supports several high-speed RAW, compressed and uncompressed record options– (some sold separately). The 7Q+ also features HDMI recording resolutions up to 4K

17″ SmallHD 1703 HDR

See beyond the restricted color and contrast of conventional monitoring with the SmallHD 1703 HDR 17″ Production Monitor. Featuring HDR preview backed by a 8-bit Color Intelligence engine with calibration capabilities, the 1703 can display a large brightness range, encompassing log formats and other expanded-range picture styles. The 1000 cd/m², daylight-viewable, 1920×1080 Full HD resolution display panel can be driven by one of two SDI inputs or an HDMI input. Each input has a loop output for connecting other gear in-line without the need for a splitter. All functionality of this monitor is accessed via the innovative Page Builder OS. By implementing full aluminum construction and the provision for separately available user-replaceable polycarbonate screen protectors, SmallHD built this monitor to survive the rigors of production in studios and in the field.

18.5” Panasonic BT-LH1850

The Panasonic BT-LH1850 18.5″ High-Performance HD/SD LCD Widescreen Monitor is a 1366 x 768 production
monitor with highly-useful features, a comprehensive set of connections, and superior quality output. The panel is ecofriendly,
with a mercury-free LED backlight drawing only 22W of power, less than half that of the previous LH model.
By SD SDI or video input, the LH1850 can display closed captions with support for both closed caption standards
(EIA/CEA-708 HD-SDI and EIA/CEA-608 SD-SDI). It can display up to eight windows simultaneously. A vectorscope
function can display all lines of an SDI input signal (Y/R/G/B). A pixel-to-pixel function can display input video without
resizing it. A still frame function can freeze a frame and display it as a sub-screen. A time code display shows the
value of the VITC, LTC or UB time code. And a simple cross hatch overlay can be displayed to check the tilt of a
A range of markers can be displayed in both 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios, including safe area, center, and aspect
markers (aspect = 4:3, 13:9, 14:9, CNSCO 2.39, CNSCO 2.35, 2:1, and VISTA in 16:9 mode). For audio monitoring, a
color audio level meter shows the input level of embedded audio. The LH1850 also features a waveform monitor for
R/G/B signals and a 3D look-up table that produces authentic color hues and smooth gradation along with quickresponse
motion images.
